My LIFE-BOOK

I am going to express my personal genuine of impression WITH INSPIRATION SPIRIT in today WELL ADVNACE of hi-tech in technology as an Amazing Intellligence (AI) device or tool for the sole positive benefits of humankind. This is can be considered or classifying as my HOLY-BOOK with ART & SCIENCE of my very shallow humble learning work-in-progress struggling journey about the medical knowledge as beautiful & wonderful COMBINATION FORMULA IN NATURE TOO.

In briefing it is all what one is thinking speaking & doing in complete phase with timely kindness of LOVE or compassion without attaching conditional culture & value. Basically it is purely educational culture & value in modern practical path of world on earth.

It is the experientail experiment of DIALYSIS & NATIVE KIDNEY TRANSPLANTATION topic or issue in humankind of scientific medical field.

I had coming to 10 years of hemodialysis treatment & rehabitlitation therapeutic session by this coming October 2024 for which I have learned & picked here & there bits & pieces from NKF SIngapore & MOH through SGH my parincipal hospital since day one as well as through websites too. My most impressive is when NKF issued me the first blood labs result sometime in toward end of 2015 after settling down for few months. Till today I am still struggling with balance of diet or diet control as well other conditional factors such 5Es ( Basic for:- Encourgement + Exercise + Education + Employment & Evaluation) that NKF main or key of project implementation since once upon a time at each dialysis centre. It is also called as LIFE@DC for road map show for empowered patients taking as ownership with NKF guidance simply we are attached at dialysis centre as sole advantages & benefits. Other conditional factors are as per personal genuine individual obligation & responsility because NKF us nothing but merely giving/saving our biasc LIFE-journey with HOPE & plenty opportinties & many happy returns as well. 

Today I am still learning & picking up bits & pieces of hemodialysis about the beautiful discivery of dialyser unit & its machine application performance 3 days on weekly basis & each routine session at least lasting for 4 standard hours. Just imagine it is like much better than our life-partnership such as husband & wife relationship & bondage.

So it is ultimately simply about our body-mind-game/system of feelings. Becuase it is our sole Aritifical Kidney keepin us moving unless one is going through successfully for transplantation. The first proven so is starting to urine again that kind of feeling & such can maintain dry weight in regular constant mannerism. Of course it is much much better than relying on Artificial Kidney or a machine performance that one has to go through lots of stressful & struggling journey if NOT disciplinary schedule enough. 

Therefore in brief summary it is my holy-book for which GOD is within our heart-mind too.

My Haemodialysis (HD) Journey Since 2014 October (Part 1)

Today 2023 I am making a self-reflection for my personal & genuine haemodialysis (HD) journey. Yes, no doubt I had written some bits & pieces & or here & there articles in the past about my experiential experiment with experience & exposure about my haemodialysis (HD) treatment or therapy in Singapore.

How did I bounce back from my poor weak & struggling state of journey when I first started HD from zero experience or exposure to the present state with positive & encouragement & confidence.

I began my haemodialysis treatment or therapy on 22nd October 2014 after my July AV Graft surgery of the same year during my admission to SGH under A & E case due to sudden gout attack. My creatinine suddenly shot up to 1000+ in reading from normally 700 to 800. It is merely 3 months apart actually. Everything went smoothly & accordingly to the SGH medical care team since day one, nevertheless.  I was finally engaged with NKF Singapore on 20th March 2015 after about 6 months with private clinic. 

Prior to that I had my heart blood vessels surgery through angioplasty balloon in 2009 as I always had frequent gout flare or gout attack since adult due to high uric acid in my blood stream. 

Without familiarization & or training whatsoever & of course no proper background of medical educational culture & value about healthcare topic, I managed to overcome & hurdle myself through own effort & determination with consistent observation & monitoring myself with self-initiative & self-motivation about each routine schedule of HD session in its body-mind-game/system of technical aspects issue. The first year of my HD session was truly the most tiring & struggling period of all. But with own effort & patience I went through the blood labs testing chart quite thoroughly as my guideline or road map! Since then onwards I never turn back again & I was able to manage & adapt satisfactory & quickly about my routine normal schedule of each HD session despite off & on I was under stress & strain because uncontrollable of conditional factors such as pre weight dry weight cleaning rate as well as others such as balance of diet, regular exercise sufficient rest or sleep & most of all the mind-set of approach & attitude towards lifestyle or life-journey especially I was ageing with multiple diseases inclusive heart disease too. Everything seem to be slow down!

My 2nd heart surgery was in 2019 sometime in March due to chest pain again. The surgery was carried out in May of same year after throughout medical investigation & analysis. That was 10 years apart & I trust & believe the original heart disease & my renal failure are closely related anyhow simply my blood stream is contaminated with toxins + fluid's accumulation in the body.



 

Positive ART testing for Covid-19 Pandemic ~ P (1)

A period between 08/02 Wednesday morning to 12/02 Sunday morning:- 

For some very valid reasons when I woke up in the morning on Wednesday 8th February 2023 I was duly advised to make an personal checked & genuinely ART tested accordingly. I was tested positive with ART kids. Immediately I informed my children & my daughter took immediate action to call & arrange NKF Marsiling DC to report my ART positive symptom case & also the make necessary arrangement thereafter. I was calm & steady to follow the instructions accordingly as some of my family members already went through experiences with similar exposures with such positive ART symptoms too in the past.

I was instructed to wait at home for their further instruction in due course for normal routine schedule of haemodialysis (HD) in my usual centre for which I am scheduled for 1-3-5 noon-shift. I was arranged for evening shift on Wednesday with transportation arrangement too. I was told to have home order quarantine with immediately effect. It is basically confined to my master bed room & must wear mask moving around in the house. Therefore my wife must rest & or sleep in the lounge for the time being. It is going to be temporary measure until everything is settling down. It is tough for my wife nevertheless but can't be help anyway. I feel very sorry about it too.

On Wednesday 08/02 & Friday 10/02 I was arranged to go NKF IRC dialysis centre 2 at cooperation road Jurong West for the quarantine order dialysis centre by MOH. Both occasions were carried out accordingly & smoothly too as per my sessions records shown. So I am not going details for my twice haemodialysis (HD) sessions here! Because I had been under great-care of NKF Singapore as my 2nd home after all!
Apart from heavy coughing with fluid coming out from my nose with back lungs area stressful while coughing I had been doing fine but lack of appetite nevertheless. So weight is naturally dropping a bit too. Temperature is off & on up & down slightly higher occasionally but generally it is normal range.

Today 12.02/23 Sunday morning the fifth day when I wake up I feel much better with lesser coughing symptom too & less stressful pain at my back around lungs area too while coughing too. As at 6.00 am morning now I haven't done my routine check-up yet.

Each us surely has individual unique character & personality especially on certain areas of strong capability upon individual growth & development through fitness! The core is working hands and hands & shoulder by shoulder running in parallel as powerful & interesting with fun & joy with happiness. In order to keep healthier fitter & stronger we need to be discipline for active & engaging by do-it-yourself (DIY) & walking-the-talks' positive approach & attitude with open-mind individually. It is also give & take by SHARING concept along our struggling dialysis journey in order to play a role of care & concern & support to each other to rebuild & regain strength with confidence. Together we are stronger with healthier & happier body-mind-game/system in order to move on & on along our journey & as such our families are happy too. With NKF Singapore as our 2nd home as well as our guidance & caregivers with opportunity we appreciate with a big THANK-YOU indeed for its HAPPY RETURNS! 

FITNESS BUDDIES ~ P (1)

As agreed upon with blessing & guidance from 2nd home NKF Singapore, among our own haemodialysis (HD) patients, we had established a group of FITNESS BUDDIES on 2nd February 2023. These 4 persons are our usual consistent regular exercise kakis starting from Marsiling DC originally just before the unpredictable unforeseen & unfortunate breaking-out of Covid-19 Pandemic worldwide in late 2019 & early 2020. The idea is keep ourselves active & engaging with fun & joy in order to keep individually of us healthier safer fitter & stronger & hence keep moving on along our struggling dialysis journey in Singapore as a tiny red dot city state of nation! In addition it is also at same time keeping us better understanding & good relationship with bondage in the spirit of Kampong style of Gongtong Ronyong as a solid & cohesive team with the concept of UNITY IS STRENGTH WITH POWER too! Hopefully it is a positive & healthy impact for our dialysis patients in their struggling living style or life-journey with open-mind within our multiple communities in Singapore as far as HEALTHCARE is concerned. 

Outreaching to other group or community about CKD topic

Recently I had a dialysis-buddy Recently I have a younger dialysis-buddy + friend & she is also our leading hands in our dialysis centre up extreme North of Singapore. She began her solo-volunteer journey to outreach at Al Maarof Mosque during Family Day on Saturday 26th November 2022. I haven't managed read or follow or study her program yet but as a dialysis patient I trust & strongly believe it is very appropriate with right approach & right attitude to support our NKF Singapore National HealthCare project or program particularly about Kidney Disease's AWARENWSS subject or topic!

In fact I had been caring & sharing through my own personal & genuine experiential experiment + experience & exposure when I engaged with NKF Singapore through my own daily diary facebook pages for my own extended families + relatives & friends near or far known or unknown. For a deaf dialysis patient perhaps this is best suit my style to express & illustrate my inner voice - what's on my mind in today hi-tech advance of digital connectivity globalization village!? Because nowadays ever since this unpredictable unforeseen & unfortunate circumstances of Covid-19 Pandemic breaking out since early 2020 in Singapore, HEALHCARE topic is very transparent world-wide already!

Hopefully I get her permission & others too to spread & promote this new concept to other patients-buddies among our NKF Singapore as our 2nd home too. CHEERS & Singapore Boleh Lah + Majula Singapura!!!
